Interactive Website Animation

Motion that follows the visitor’s intent.

Discuss this service

Designed for frontend teams and agencies building interactive websites.

A hero animation should support the page without delaying its message. Scope a purposeful response to hover, focus or user action and keep content available in HTML.

What we can build

  • Responsive interactive scene.
  • Pointer and keyboard behavior.
  • Static and reduced-motion fallback.

The final deliverables are agreed during discovery. Source files, implementation support and additional platform variants are included only when explicitly scoped.

A clear control contract

Plan the animation’s public controls before producing a full motion library. A starting specification might include:

  • isFocused: keyboard or pointer focus.
  • interaction: intentional activation.
  • viewport: agreed responsive mode.

These are proposed control names and behaviors, not an existing Rive asset. The final file determines the actual property and state names.

Integration considerations

Reserve space before loading the asset, lazy-load secondary scenes and pause offscreen work. Ensure core links and headings work without the runtime.

Review the behavior

Test keyboard-only access, touch, a slow connection and a failed asset load. The page must remain navigable in every case.

Portfolio preview pending. No client example is published for this service yet. Explore the labeled CSS interaction studies to discuss behavior and visual direction.

From brief to handoff

  1. Define. Review your audience, key events, platform and asset requirements.
  2. Design. Approve the visual direction, key poses and transition rules.
  3. Build. Rig the artwork and author the agreed state system.
  4. Validate. Review an export against the acceptance sequence and target runtime.
  5. Handoff. Deliver the scoped assets, control map and integration notes.

Questions before we start

Can this respond to scroll?

A bounded progress-driven scene can be scoped. Native scrolling and readable content should remain intact.

What should I include in the brief?

Share the target platform, screen dimensions, existing artwork, desired states and any runtime restrictions. A short recording of the current product is useful.

How are timing and cost agreed?

Scope depends on the artwork, state count, platform validation and revision needs. A defined brief comes before a project estimate.

CHAPTER 07 — START A PROJECT

Building something that needs to feel alive?

You build the product. I bring it to life. Share your platform, your idea, and the moments that need motion.
